Re: I’m telling you what testing to order. You’re telling people about gun control.

For comparison, most science journalists also could care less about proper testing. That causes them to promote ridiculous theories.

…an intrinsic covalently-bonded chromophore is spontaneously constructed from the side chains of the tripeptide Ser65-Tyr66-Gly67.

What test results were linked to the intrinsic spontaneous construction (i.e., creation) of the covalently-bonded chromophore.

What kind of nonsense do you think he is still touting?

See: John Hewitt  Nucleoside logic: Supply-side programming of the immune biocomputer (2018)

The immune system is host to a bewildering array of cell types. Traditionally, immunologists have classified cells in different states of activation according to the various interleukins, interferons and other cytokines they express or secrete. Unfortunately, this ever-sprawling matrix of cell markers has become a matrix of exceptions that is rapidly collapsing under its own weight.

In this confusion, the specific metabolic state of any given immune cell class has emerged as a more reliable predictor of its status and fate. In particular, the condition of a cell’s mitochondrial network is now proving to be the most fundamental classifier.

The specific metabolic state of any given cell type is energy-dependent and the energy biophysically constrains viral latency until the virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA links mutations to all diseases whether or not theorists place the facts into the context of their ridiculous Genome Wide Association Studies.

Hewitt’s attempt to move forward occurs while he is stuck with the paradigm that links the tripeptide, with three amino acids, to the intrinsic spontaneously constructed covalently bonded chromophore. Every intelligent researcher I have even known would ask “Where did the amino acids come from?” John Hewitt might say the amino acid are ecologically relevant “magic traits” or he might block you from seeing anything else he has claimed, which is what he did to me many months ago.

I can’t remember whether he did that before or after I published Nutrient-dependent Pheromone-Controlled Ecological Adaptations: From Angstroms to Ecosystems (4/18/18).  But, I try to use him as an example of human idiocy with each new opportunity.

See why: Chemical nature of the light emitter of the Aequorea green fluorescent protein. (1996)

See for comparison: Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies

The ability of different peptides to inhibit autophosphorylation of EGFR is presented by the decrease of the fluorescent signal (Y axis).

The link from the light-activated assembly of the microRNA-RNA-peptide nanocomplex to green fluorescent protein was reported in the context of the cure for all cancers. John Hewitt still touts nonsense about genome wide association studies.
