If you dismiss everything known about the microRNA-mediated facts of life presented in more than 83,000 published works on microRNAs at microRNA, you can start over with this theory of physics.
Constructor theory is a new vision of physics, but it helps to answer a very old question: why is life possible at all?
Life is not possible outside the context of biophysically constrained viral latency.
Updated 2/9/19 The pseudoscientific nonsense published by Aeon must be revisited in the context of the forthcoming cure for cancer, which links the creation of sunlight to biophysically constrained viral latency and all biodiversity via the physiology of reproduction.
Light-activated microRNA biogenesis links “constructor theory” to the forthcoming cure for cancer. The panic at Aeon (@aeonmag) is due to the fact that serious scientists know about the light-activated energy-dependent assembly of the peptide nucleic acid-microRNA nanocomplex for dual modulation of cancer-related microRNAs.
There is no other known source for the assembly of the peptide nucleic acid-microRNA nanocomplex. There is no such thing as self-assembly.
Every aspect of disease modulation starts with light-activated microRNA biogenesis in plants.
…plants alter microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis in response to light transition.
Plant growth requires the nutrient-dependent pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction in soil bacteria.
…an interesting speculation. Light is known to be a quantum field from other independent experimental evidence, so a non-approximative model for light would require it to be quantum. As soon as light is treated as quantum, since the Rabi splitting is observed in the experiment in , the bacteria (more precisely, whatever degree of freedom within bacteria couples to light) would also have to be quantum—in the sense that they must be described by a model with at least two non-commuting observables. This is because, unlike for other simpler light-harnessing phenomena such as photon absorption, the Rabi splitting cannot be explained by a semi-classical model where the field is quantum and the other system is classical.
The witness of non-classicality provided by the Rabi splitting is however not enough to rule out hidden-variable models. There are indeed more refined and direct levels of probing and confirming the degree of entanglement between two subsystems, here being the two harmonic oscillators, one representing the bacteria and the other the cavity mode.

…it hints at another potential instance of naturally emerging quantum biology: Green sulfur bacteria reside in the deep ocean where the scarcity of life-giving light might even spur quantum-mechanical evolutionary adaptations to boost photosynthesis.
As is typical of all biologically uninformed science idiots, the inventors of constructor theory attempt to link the creation of the sun’s anti-entropic virucidal energy to “naturally emerging quantum biology.” The quantum biology can then be linked to quantum-mechanical evolutionary adaptations. The claim that these evolutionary adaptations boost photosynthesis exemplified human idiocy.
Bacteria, like all organisms on earth, require an energy source to fuel the physiology of reproduction. The energy biophysically constrains the virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA, which all serious scientists have linked to sympatric speciation and all biodiversity. Attempts to link evolutionary adaptations that supposedly boost photosynthesis without addresses the facts about the creation of the energy source for photosynthesis place the energy outside the context of the theory until the theory requires the energy source for photosynthesis. Thus, the energy emerges in the context of the magic of evolution.

We now have absolute genetic proof that immune cells need this brain chemical,” says Dr. Mak. “We believe it’s an entirely new lens though which to look at numerous diseases including cancer, viral infections and autoimmune conditions.
This is not “genetic proof.” The forthcoming cure for all virus-driven pathology is based on epigenetically effected microRNA-mediated DNA methylation and histone acetylation.
