Pheromone-controlled natural selection for cooperation

I’m pleased to announce the upcoming publication of Evolution, Games, and God: The Principle of Cooperation edited by Martin A. Nowak and Sarah Coakley, which resists the presumption that theology and evolutionary theory are inevitably at odds by rationally presenting a number of theological interpretations of the phenomena of cooperation and altruism and finding evolutionary explanation and theology to be strongly compatible.

Excerpt: from the press release: “…examines how cooperation, working alongside mutation and natural selection, plays a critical role in populations from microbes to human societies.”

My comment: Cooperation is nutrient-dependent and pheromone-controlled in my model, which includes the molecular mechanisms common to species from microbes to man. Can anyone tell us how mutations enable natural selection for cooperation?
