Although no experimental evidence of top-down causation supports claims about more than ~6000 years of ecological adaptation, it is interesting to compare claims about ecological adaptation to the theory of snake-centric human evolution in Pulvinar neurons reveal neurobiological evidence of past selection for rapid detection of snakes.

Although the visual system must be involved in the preferential ability to detect snakes rapidly and preconsciously or automatically, the neurological basis for this ability has not yet been elucidated, perhaps because an evolutionary perspective is rarely incorporated in neuroscientific studies.

The most likely reason for the failure to incorporate any evolutionary perspective into the context of neuroscientific studies is because serious scientists laugh at the claims of theorists.  No serious scientist since Darwin has suggested that anything except biophysically constrained “conditions of life” could be linked to all biodiversity on Earth via the physiology of quantized energy-dependent reproduction.

Charles Darwin was wise enough not to pin down what he could not see or know, and so, he did not overly pontificate on how the changeability of nature was encoded, and how that code could be altered in its details.

The fact that even the most ignorant theorist on Earth must admit Greg Bear took a much wiser approach to all issues of ecological adaptation that Darwin considered in his “conditions of life” suggests that human idiocy has prevailed among biologically uninformed theorists, at least since the time the Feynman used theoretical physicists as example of human idiocy.
