MicroRNA biogenesis vs Abiogenesis (2)

Genome-wide repressive capacity of promoter DNA methylation is revealed through epigenomic manipulation August 1, 2018 (RNA day)

We reanalyzed a groundbreaking epigenomic study and found that DNA methylation is strongly associated with transcriptional repression, in contrast to the original findings

I asked:

Do you realize that light-activated microRNA biogenesis has been linked from RNA-directed DNA methylation to biophysically constrained viral latency via fixation of amino acid substitutions that determine the cell types in all living genera?

In case you missed it. First Annual RNA Day: Aug 1st, 2018

… use this occasion to… Let the world know how important RNA is!

I did that more than 2 decades ago. See the molecular epigenetics section of our 1996 Hormones and Behavior review of RNA-mediated cell type differentiation. From Fertilization to Adult Sexual Behavior

Small intranuclear proteins also participate in generating alternative splicing techniques of pre-mRNA and, by this mechanism, contribute to sexual differentiation in at least two species, Drosophila melanogaster and Caenorhabditis elegans…. That similar proteins perform functions in humans suggests the possibility that some human sex differences may arise from alternative splicings of otherwise identical genes.”

Sex sells, but the fact that every aspect of every level of biological organization has been linked from alternative splicing techniques of pre-mRNA, which are now called microRNAs, to all biodiversity via RNA-directed DNA methylation is well known.

These authors announce it as if this fact was something new.

… complementary epigenetic marks of active transcription are reduced as a result of DNA methylation.

Who does not know that RNA-directed DNA methylation is the quantized energy-dependent link from biophysically constrained viral latency to all biodiversity on Earth?

Who is not going to admit that they already know what is being reported as if it was new information?

What is an evolutionary adaptation? All adaptations exemplify what happens or not in the context of ecological variation.

It is obvious to all serious scientists that the paradigm shift from epigenetic variation to adaptation does not include any aspect of the evolution of disease.

Reversible switching between epigenetics states is the quantized energy-dependent microRNA-mediated link to healthy longevity via the nutrient-dependent pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction, which links changes in angstroms to ecosystems in all living genera.

Nutrient-dependent Pheromone-Controlled Ecological Adaptations: From Angstroms to Ecosystems (2018)

MicroRNA-mediated changes in base pairs have been linked from alternative splicings to fixation of RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions that differentiate the cell types of all individuals of all species in the context of the anti-entropic virucidal energy of sunlight.
