My comment: Nutrient-dependent epigenetically-effected adaptations.
See, especially, slide #15 for the importance of epigenetics, and slide #65 for the bell curve representation of innovators and laggards.

Innovators are currently outnumbered by the laggards who cling to ridiculous theories about mutation-initiated natural selection despite the overwhelming accumulation of evidence supporting Darwin’s claim that ‘conditions of life’ must be the first concern before any consideration is given to natural selection.
Darwin’s ‘conditions of life’ are obviously nutrient-dependent. They are not dependent on mutations, which means that the selection of nutrients enables adaptations. The idea that mutations are somehow selected that enable adaptations to any environment, or that mutations somehow positively contribute to evolution is one of the most ridiculous ideas ever proposed, and there is no experimental evidence that supports the idea.
